The Wildlife Department has renamed Tipeshwar's gates: Nandai Gate was formerly Mathani Gate, Bhavankhori Gate was formerly Kodori Gate, and Tipeshwar Gate was formerly Sunna Gate.

The best place to stay for a Tipeshwar safari is beside the gate you will enter from. Maya Stays has two stays right at the gates of Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary in Maharashtra, so you are minutes from the forest for early-morning safaris.
- Maya Stays – Nandai · Mathani Gate — about 5 minutes from Nandai Gate (formerly Mathani Gate), Ghatanji, Yavatmal. 4 AC rooms, up to 16 adults.
- Maya Stays – Bhavankhori · Kodori Gate — about 12 minutes from Bhavankhori Gate (formerly Kodori Gate), near Rudha. 4 AC rooms, generator backup including AC.
- Both: ₹3,500 per adult per night with breakfast, lunch, dinner and high tea included, attached washrooms, 24-hour hot water, free parking and free safari-booking help for staying guests.
Nearest airport: Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport, Nagpur (about 180 km / 3.5 hours). Preferred railway station: Adilabad. From Hyderabad: about 330–364 km / 6–7 hours.

Each room is billed at a minimum of ₹7,000 per night (equal to 2 adults), so a solo guest can book a room by paying ₹7,000. Children below 8 stay free and children aged 8–14 are ₹1,000 per night, with meals included.

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and one high tea are included in the standard tariff, along with 2 complimentary water bottles per room per day. Meals are fresh and home-cooked. Extra food, snacks, tea, coffee and additional packaged water are chargeable.

Is Tipeshwar closed on Tuesday?

What is the best time to visit Tipeshwar?
October to June is generally the preferred period for Tipeshwar safaris. Monsoon safaris may also operate depending on current forest conditions and Wildlife Department rules.
