Prices & meals
How much does Maya Stays cost?
₹3,500 per adult (age 15+) per night, inclusive of applicable taxes, with breakfast, lunch, dinner and one high tea included. Each room is billed at a minimum of ₹7,000 per night (equal to 2 adults), so a solo guest can book a room by paying ₹7,000. Children below 8 stay free and children aged 8–14 are ₹1,000 per night, with meals included.
Which meals are included?
Breakfast, lunch, dinner and one high tea are included in the standard tariff, along with 2 complimentary water bottles per room per day. Meals are fresh and home-cooked. Extra food, snacks, tea, coffee and additional packaged water are chargeable.
Is Maya Stays vegetarian?
Maya Stays serves both vegetarian and non-vegetarian food; it is not a pure-vegetarian property. Vegetarian, Jain, no onion/garlic, less spicy and simple food for children or elderly guests can be prepared with prior notice, subject to availability. Strict vegetarian and Jain food can be prepared separately on advance request.
Do prices change on weekends or holidays?
No. The tariff normally stays the same on weekends, public holidays and peak dates. Long-stay, group and returning-guest discounts may be considered case by case.
Is the safari included in the room price?
No. The ₹3,500 tariff covers accommodation and meals. Safari permits and charges are paid separately under Wildlife Department rules and pricing. Maya Stays helps staying guests with safari bookings free of charge.

Does Maya Stays help with safari booking?
Yes. Maya Stays provides complimentary safari-booking assistance for staying guests, with no service fee. This can include checking availability, gate selection guidance, online safari coordination, VIP/Priority safari coordination, Gypsy coordination and naturalist-guide arrangement. Safari permits and charges remain subject to Wildlife Department rules, availability and pricing.
Can a naturalist be arranged?
Yes. Maya Stays can arrange an experienced naturalist-guide for ₹500 per Gypsy, per safari, subject to availability. This is optional.
What is the best time to visit Tipeshwar?
October to June is generally the preferred period for Tipeshwar safaris. Monsoon safaris may also operate depending on current forest conditions and Wildlife Department rules.
Is Tipeshwar closed on Tuesday?
Tipeshwar Wildlife Sanctuary is normally closed for regular safaris on Tuesdays, subject to Wildlife Department updates.
What are the Tipeshwar safari timings?
Morning and afternoon safaris run every season. October: 6:00–10:00 AM and 2:30–6:30 PM. November to February: 6:30–10:30 AM and 2:00–6:00 PM. March to April: 6:00–10:00 AM and 2:30–6:30 PM. May to June: 5:30–9:30 AM and 3:00–7:00 PM. Timings are determined by the Wildlife Department and may change due to seasonal, weather, forest or administrative conditions.
Are tiger sightings guaranteed?
Tipeshwar is a natural wildlife habitat. Tiger and other wildlife sightings depend on animal movement, weather, forest conditions and chance. Maya Stays cannot guarantee sightings of any particular species.
How many people fit in a safari Gypsy?
Up to 6 adults and 2 children below 8 years per Gypsy, subject to current Wildlife Department rules.
Can I book a safari at short notice?
Regular online booking may sometimes still be available one day before the safari, depending on permit availability. When regular tickets are unavailable, a VIP/Priority safari may sometimes be arranged 1 day in advance, subject to availability, Wildlife Department regulations and applicable charges, which are paid at the gate.
Rooms & facilities
How many rooms does each stay have?
Each operational stay has 4 air-conditioned rooms. A room sleeps up to 4 adults: 2 on the main bed and up to 2 on extra mattresses. Each property hosts up to 16 adults (age 15+); children below 8 may be accommodated additionally, subject to space and management approval.
Is Wi-Fi available?
Yes, complimentary Wi-Fi is available in the common areas. It is not available inside every room, and connectivity can vary in this remote location.
Which mobile network works at Tipeshwar?
Jio and BSNL generally provide better connectivity in the region, but signal strength may vary because of the remote wildlife location.
Is there power backup?
Yes. Bhavankhori · Kodori Gate has generator backup that also runs the AC. Nandai · Mathani Gate has inverter backup for lights, fans, Wi-Fi and charging points; the inverter does not run the AC.
Is parking available?
Yes. Free parking for about 6 vehicles inside the enclosed premises at each stay. The road is fully paved and reachable by normal passenger cars, generally even during the monsoon.
Can I work remotely from Maya Stays?
Both stays have common seating and work areas with tables, chairs, power sockets and common-area Wi-Fi. Connectivity can vary, so high-speed or video-call-grade internet cannot be promised.
Families & guests
Are children allowed?
Yes. Children below 8 stay free with meals included, and children aged 8–14 are ₹1,000 per night with meals and an extra mattress included. Staff can help heat milk or water and prepare simple baby food. Baby cots and cribs are not provided.
Can elderly guests stay?
Yes. Both stays are suitable for elderly guests. Rooms are on the ground floor, though there may be 2–3 steps. The properties are not certified wheelchair accessible.
Are pets allowed?
No. Pets are not allowed at either property.
What are the check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is 12:30 PM and check-out is 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late check-out (up to 1:00 PM at most) are subject to availability and may be chargeable. Late-night arrivals are welcome with prior notice; please share your ETA.
Can I walk in without a booking?
No. A confirmed reservation is required before arrival. Same-day bookings are possible if rooms are available, with 100% advance payment.
How do I pay?
A 20% advance confirms a standard booking and the remaining 80% is paid at check-out. Payment is accepted by UPI, bank transfer or cash. Card payments are not available.
Is alcohol allowed?
Maya Stays does not sell, supply or serve alcohol. Guests may bring their own only with prior management permission and must consume it responsibly.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not allowed inside rooms. It is allowed only in the designated outdoor smoking areas.
